For me: December 1st marks my 3oth year helping put the puzzle pieces of real estate together for hundreds of buyers & sellers. It’s been one continuous adventure, learning curve and, most of all, honor to share in the process. To celebrate and share in more ways about what I do and where I do it, I’m venturing into more active social media.
The plan is to bring information about our neighborhood and create a place of sharing and community. Visit, sign on, share, comment and connect!
I’m also using my Big 30 on behalf of an organization near and dear to my heart:
who’s mission is: ” To promote and restore California landscapes, and habitats. To propagate and make available California native plants and wildflowers. To educate and acquire knowledge about California flora and natural history.”
And since using low water native plants fits squarely into my goal to Live Lightly on the Earth I am pleased to announce I have joined the TPF (Theodore Payne Foundation) board. Which finds me on the silent auction committee for the TPF’s 50th(!!) anniversary party set for March 2011 (check back for the exact date).
So, how do these 2 Big Dates fit together? At the party celebrating my 25 years in the biz, many friends brought really thoughtful presents. To help me celebrate my 30th I’m asking anyone so inclined to consider a check to TPF or, even better, donate something fun to the auction. Wine? Artwork? Dodger Tix? A weekend at a rental/vacation home? Just give me a call to say come pick this up and I will!
Thanks for reading this first post. Let me know, what do you think??
