North East Tress is hosting a tree giveaway and Hillside Produce Cooperative will have an exchange, both this Saturday. Read on tho learn more:
Under the Million Trees LA initiative, North East Trees and the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council are bringing a Free Shade Event to our communities. This event will provide free shade trees for City of Los Angeles residents to be planted on residential property (not in street parkways.)

(between Via Marisol & Ave 60)North East Trees will bring a limited number of trees to this event, if you don’t get the tree(s) you want, their friendly urban forestry staff will give you advise and forms to order trees to be delivered to your residence
Forms and information on ordering free shade trees also can be obtained at the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council booth at the Monterey Hills Jazz Festival.
Hillside Produce asks that you be in touch by tomorrow, Oct. 13 at NOON if you would like to participate in the FREE exchange of FREE fresh local food this Saturday, October 15th.
