Please join us for our annual Pumpkin Festival, this Saturday the 29th, from 1-5pm on the main yard. This ultra fun event is sure to please the entire family, with lots of game booths, food booths, entertainers, bands and a spooktacular Haunted House. Admission is free, the game and food booths will require tickets.
Purging your closet, store-room or garage?
Community members are asked to donate lightly used items that can be sold at the event. Books, records, clothes, appliances, sporting goods, car accessories, bicycles, lawn and garden equipment, office supplies, jewelry, lamps, dishes, furniture, building materials and “the kitchen sink” are among the items sought. The flea market will be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of Superior Grocers, located at the intersection of Ave. 45 and N. Figueroa St.
Those wanting to drop off items are encouraged to do so at Superior between 7-10 a.m. on the day of the event. Items can also be dropped off at Mount Washington Elementary on the Friday preceding the flea market.
